I interviewed five or six organizers and had false starts with one or two—like speed dating but with more plastic bins. Then came Carmen, and everything changed. My family was drowning in clutter—think Titanic, but with Legos—and with two neurospicy parents and a handful of neurospicy kids, organizing our home was like trying to play 4D chess while blindfolded. Carmen rolled up her sleeves (metaphorically and literally), and off we went on an epic quest involving emotional baggage, actual baggage, and the occasional pilgrimage to IKEA. When even the mighty Swedish empire of allen wrenches couldn’t meet our needs, Carmen said, “No problem,” grabbed a drill, and off we went to the lumber yard to build exactly what we needed—DIY meets OMG. She stuck with us through it all—overflowing closets, meltdowns (ours, not hers), and the ever-elusive quest for a sock system that works. She even went the extra mile, educating herself on neurodivergence with podcasts so she could better understand how our beautifully chaotic brains work. I cannot recommend Carmen highly enough. She's equal parts visionary and get-it-done guru, the kind of person who doesn’t just think outside the box—she’ll build you a custom shelf system for the box you didn’t know you needed.

Working with Carmen was a delight. Great ideas up front made the process move quickly and efficiently right from the start. Carmen’s presence and reassurance was calming and kept me focused on the task at hand. Her cheerful manner made everything flow smoothly. The packing was perfect! Carmen was super helpful with unblocking me in multiple projects in my home by very speedily and thoughtfully reorganizing my storage in my very tiny studio, creating a ton of extra space and order. I will definitely be hiring her again!

Carmen came into a situation where an elderly tenant really needed help organizing. He was floundering and there was little time. Carmen was kind, sensitive, dedicated and accomplished the near impossible! Couldn’t have done it without her. She is very careful to provide an accurate of what she had done in each session. Highly recommended.
