Paul took the time to listen to my goals and concerns and designed a program that was ideal for me. I have health concerns that requires a major surgery but with the techniques he shared, I am able push the need for surgery out. It also allowed me to reduce pain while keeping me motivated and interested in continuing the training. Paul is very personable and listens actively to address concerns. He helped me stay focused and have fun while doing it. He is also very flexible with scheduling and worked around my busy schedule. He is always open to learning and improving himself to make sure his clients have the latest information and offers solutions that traditional methods did not address for me.

I have been training with Paul for more than three years, in-person and virtually. I came in with no experience in lifting and body mechanics, and have gradually learned how to maximize my workouts, get a lot stronger and healthier, and also understand my body more. Paul knows how to suss out a problem area and what to do so you can continue to improve. In three years, he's never brought a negative attitude to a session and he's very adaptable to whatever your needs might be that day.

Less than one year ago I was experiencing so much hip pain that I went through spells of being confined to bed. I’m in my 60’s, and have always been active but then I could barely manage a short walk with my dogs. I have a sister who has been confined to a wheelchair for years, and her problems began with hip and lower back pain so I was beginning to panic, to say the least. My doctor and orthopedic specialist could not find a medical cause, which calmed my fears a bit, but I was still dealing with daily pain. In hopes of some relief I began working out with Paul. We started out with a few simple daily exercises, and I have to admit that several times I thought to myself “how is THIS going to help me?” But I was committed and faithfully did everything he asked me to do. In about 10 days all of my hip pain was gone, and has not returned. As time went by I began to see how those simple basic exercises were building my core strength so that I could advance to more strenuous moves. I’m back to walking 2 to 3 miles a day with my doggies, and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. I can now do squats while holding weights, and can do “touch and go” deadlifts with 120 lbs.! I never in a million years thought I’d be able to achieve that at my age! This August will mark one year since I began working with Paul, and I’m excited to see what else the future brings. It’s a terrible feeling to think that as you get older you’re going to be confined to a chair just watching TV, barely able to care for yourself. Now, every time I RUN up a flight of stairs, in my mind I’m thanking Paul for his commitment to helping me get stronger and back on my feet!

As a medical professional (Dermatologist), I already understand the importance of maintaining a healthy mind & body. I've been training with Paul over 5 years now, and it has been one of the best life decisions I've ever made. Paul isn't just some drill sergeant or motivational speaker. His multidimensional approach to fitness and nutrition is appropriate for those looking to start their journey, but also those who realize the journey doesn't end. I'm 37, 5'5", 137 lbs, with no prior injuries. I used to have a recurring lower back pain & soreness in my right upper back/shoulder area, both of which I dismissed as stress tension. I can now deadlift 275 lbs with no problem, and I'm in the best shape of my life, both physically and aesthetically. I attribute this to the experience & wisdom that only a professional like Paul can provide. He has taught me that I don't have to just accept living with pain and therefore, I'm able to get stronger and continue my personal growth. I'm fortunate enough to train with him in person, but I did participate in online sessions for some time during the pandemic. Paul is the best fitness trainer the among the dozens over the years that I’ve ever worked with. What I appreciated most is that he is constantly deepening his own knowledge of anatomy and technique so that he brought up-to-date research-based practices to our sessions. Which matters to me because I’m more interested in life long wellness and fitness than in short-term gains. So there are specific routines and techniques that I learned from Paul that have worked so well for me that I share them with other people in my life. He is also charming, professional, and a pleasure to see in the morning. Wish we still lived in New York so I could keep working out with Paul.
