About
A Licensed Veterinary Technician and empathetic pet sitter experienced with cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, chinchillas, rats and small birds. I am located in Crown Heights Brooklyn, but do travel depending on the job. My normal visit local to my general area in Brooklyn is 45 minutes and $30, other boroughs and advanced medication administration goes up a la carte. I'm able to do injections, subcutaneous fluids, and oral meds in nearly all situations (contact me for more information.) I can do a discounted visit if two customers are in the same building and away at the same time but I don't offer a shorter or lower priced visit. I love animals, and love being able to reassure people that their animals are safe and happy while they are away. I always send photos of each visit and sometimes with customers who like it little videos and post those to instagram.

Amber is great. My experience with her was so great the first time that I've become a repeat client, and I trust her with a set of keys. Highly recommend her for being a trusted caretaker for your pet! She checks in via text, gives a brief update and passes along pictures.

Amber watched my pets -- two dogs, a cat, and four hamsters for an extended time away over the holidays. She always went above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of, always sent photos of their walks and daily activities, and even managed to rescue one of the hamsters that escaped! Basically, she's awesome and you couldn't do better than her.

Thumbtack made me choose only 3 of the 5 qualities that they give as options for what I like about working with Greenfuzz Pet Care, but I would choose all 5 if I could (work quality, professionalism, responsiveness, value, punctuality). Amber is the absolute BEST. My husband and I are legitimately OCD (it's annoying) which makes us both pretty anxious when it comes to traveling out of town and adopting a cat a few years ago only intensified that. Now we have to worry about our stuff, our home, AND our fur child? We discovered immediately, during our first trip out of town to visit family after adopting our cat that we are THOSE kind of pet parents. Ever since then, every.....single....time we go out of town we set up FOUR pet cams so that every time we're wondering what she's doing or if she's ok we can just go on our phones and check (the answer is usually lazing about). Technically we now have 5 cameras because we got one specifically for the laser pointer built in that you can set to go off with motion detection and can control it via their app so it's like the best video game ever. So I think we've established....we're insane people who feel as if we personally birthed our cat. Knowing that Amber will be checking in on her relieves all of the anxiety we otherwise would have while away. We know she's being taken care of by someone who loves and cares about animals, is knowledgeable, experienced, trustworthy, and will take the time to play and keep company, and we always get updates, sometimes more than I can respond to in real-time while traveling. We 1000% recommend Amber! I don't know what we would do without her.

Amber is, hands down, the best pet sitter I have ever had. She not only adores my sometimes cranky cat, but is also able to deftly administer meds, while keeping both my cat and her owner calm, comfortable, and happy. I will literally never use anyone else.
