I have known Kate for over 25 years and have known many of her past clientele. I have never heard a discouraging word from ANY of her clients. She would take care of a client and their pets, most of whom consider their pet to be a member of their family, with utter professionalism and with the touch of an artist. Kate would often house-sit my apartment while I would be away and I trust her implicitly. I would actually let her run her Loving Pet Co. out of my apartment in exchange for some fabulous meals she would leave for me (she's a chef without the title and can make anything taste great. ANYTHING). But there is one particular story that I would like to relate to show the kind of person that Kate is. On one particular New Years Eve in NYC, Kate was house-sitting for a client and taking care of her rather large dog. The client was away on a short holiday vacation and Kate was responsible for the apartment and the dogs needs, which are both her specialties. While answering the door for a delivery, the dog (which weighed in at over 75 lbs.), jumped up on Kate and pushed her out of the apartment and then pushed the door closed behind her and it automatically locked (it seems that dogs can actually multi-task). From the moment this happened, Kate called the client to inform her of what had just happened and told the client she was calling an emergency 24 hour locksmith. Now, this was back in the age of payphones, not cellphones, so the only way to call was to use actual change, as in quarters, dimes and nickels. So Kate would run back and forth to the payphone to call the locksmith, then back to apartment door to let the dog know it was not alone, then back downstairs to wait for the locksmith. Now, this was on New Years Eve in the Largest city in America, on a frozen cold night with no coat, as she wasn't wearing one when the dog pushed her out of the door. Finally, after almost 2 hours, the locksmith came, replaced the lock and made key copies so Kate could give them to the client, and Kate paid for the whole cost out of her own pocket. Only a true professional would do this. I would heartily recommend Kate and The Loving Pet Co. to ANYONE who would ask, as she is a thorough professional. As good as it gets.Oct 2, 2016VerifiedLovingPet Co.& Home Care Services's reply
Remarkable memory, outstanding review; Priceless and trusted friend. Thank you Barney..
To Whom It May Concern: This is a letter of recommendation for Katie Fiore. Katie has been helping take care of our puppy, Reuben, for the last 6 months since we adopted him at the age of 4 months. She takes care of him during the day, three days a week, while my husband and I are at work. We work long, inflexible hours and depend on Katie for our dog care needs during the week. She is reliable and spends time, not just feeding and walking Reuben, but also takes the extra time to play with him and continue puppy training when we are not able. Katie is indispensible and takes care of Reuben as if he were her own puppy companion. My husband and I trust Katie implicitly, both with Reuben and with our home. She has taken care of our house and Reuben while we are on vacation as well, both for over 1 week at a time. We always return to a happy puppy, clean house, and even a home-cooked meal. Again, Katie is detail oriented, dependable, and has always gone the extra mile for me and my family. One of the other attributes Katie has that is a huge advantage is her open communication regarding Reubens care. She always leaves detailed notes about Reubens day, and she has been flexible in communicating with us by text as we are not often available to talk on the phone. Katie is incredibly experienced and helpful. She is able to navigate the fine line between providing helpful advice and not substituting her own decisions or agendas over ours. She has been absolutely delightful to work with the past 6 months, and I hope that she will continue to care for Reuben for many years to come. We never take for granted that we come home to happy, healthy, exercised puppy. Katie has done an amazing job with Reuben and we would gladly recommend her as a care provider for your pet! Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions about the work of Katie Fiore. She has been amazing for both us and Reuben! Thank you for your time and consideration, Jessica and David PattersonMar 28, 2016
Katie was a lifesaver. My girlfriend and I had a trip for labor day and needed a pet sitter last minute. Not only was she prompt and professional, she instantly got along with our little Ava! She gave us regular updates and was always open when we had questions. Would definitely recommend!!Sep 28, 2017LovingPet Co.& Home Care Services's reply
Thank you Dear Ryan, Pauline and little Ava! I really hope to be of service in the days, weeks and months ahead. ...your kitty was a pal and great good companion to care for; ♡ instant love affair. Be well and as always, Cheers!
When our regular neighborhood petsitter was no longer available, I wasn't sure what we would do. Our cats get fed wet food, and our oldest cat has some medical issues, so we wanted someone who wouldn't just "pet and run." Kate stayed over and cared for them as we would. Our cats were calm and content when we came home. They want her back!Sep 27, 2017VerifiedLovingPet Co.& Home Care Services's reply
Aww, the sweetest things, your kitties Marion! So easy to love and care for them....thanks again! Looking forward to our next visit!
Katie was wonderful. She was available last minute, gave us a great price, and took very good care of my cat. She sent us pictures and spent more time than she had to spending time with our cat. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again.Sep 5, 2017VerifiedLovingPet Co.& Home Care Services's reply
