I have known Kate for over 25 years and have known many of her past clientele. I have never heard a discouraging word from ANY of her clients. She would take care of a client and their pets, most of whom consider their pet to be a member of their family, with utter professionalism and with the touch of an artist. Kate would often house-sit my apartment while I would be away and I trust her implicitly. I would actually let her run her Loving Pet Co. out of my apartment in exchange for some fabulous meals she would leave for me (she's a chef without the title and can make anything taste great. ANYTHING). But there is one particular story that I would like to relate to show the kind of person that Kate is. On one particular New Years Eve in NYC, Kate was house-sitting for a client and taking care of her rather large dog. The client was away on a short holiday vacation and Kate was responsible for the apartment and the dogs needs, which are both her specialties. While answering the door for a delivery, the dog (which weighed in at over 75 lbs.), jumped up on Kate and pushed her out of the apartment and then pushed the door closed behind her and it automatically locked (it seems that dogs can actually multi-task). From the moment this happened, Kate called the client to inform her of what had just happened and told the client she was calling an emergency 24 hour locksmith. Now, this was back in the age of payphones, not cellphones, so the only way to call was to use actual change, as in quarters, dimes and nickels. So Kate would run back and forth to the payphone to call the locksmith, then back to apartment door to let the dog know it was not alone, then back downstairs to wait for the locksmith. Now, this was on New Years Eve in the Largest city in America, on a frozen cold night with no coat, as she wasn't wearing one when the dog pushed her out of the door. Finally, after almost 2 hours, the locksmith came, replaced the lock and made key copies so Kate could give them to the client, and Kate paid for the whole cost out of her own pocket. Only a true professional would do this. I would heartily recommend Kate and The Loving Pet Co. to ANYONE who would ask, as she is a thorough professional. As good as it gets.

When our regular neighborhood petsitter was no longer available, I wasn't sure what we would do. Our cats get fed wet food, and our oldest cat has some medical issues, so we wanted someone who wouldn't just "pet and run." Kate stayed over and cared for them as we would. Our cats were calm and content when we came home. They want her back!

15$ per visit, walking, $15 per day, cat visit, $35 per hr, training dogs/ daycare... All prices negotiable, long term boarding, or weekly permanent hire. $50 per day, boarding in your home...includes all care requirements for home care. Multiple animals additional charge; negotiable.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet&Greet. References furnished upon request. Need to meet my clients and their companions, face to face, first and foremost. I serve always, at the pleasure of the client, and their companions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
New clients teach me something every day. On the job training seems to be required in this particular position. K-9 behavioral trainer in NYC, NY... For 20 years
