As an English student and Spanish teacher, I have seen many different styles of teaching and I learnt from my experience in which things English speakers struggle most. With my extensive knowledge of both languages I have developed a successful method of teaching Spanish which the student will learn easier and faster, although without doubt the best method is motivation. I am qualified to teach any level and Spanish linguistic skill (speaking, reading, listening, writing and grammar). If you desire an improvement of your conversational skill such as pronunciation, language structure and comprehension or just want to learn useful phrases and vocabulary in a short period of time I am qualified too. I have over six years of experience teaching individuals and groups, my educational background is in Elementary Education studies at University Complutense in Madrid, after that I was teaching English in a Spanish elementary school from Madrid (Jesús Maestro elementary school) for five years. Two years ago I decided to improve my teaching career and I entered the University College Cork in in order to advance my knowledge on the methods of teaching my mother tongue. While I was studying a Higher Diploma in Spanish there I was tutoring various students from University College Cork, because of this I had the opportunity to put into practice some of the methods that I learnt such as Task Based Language Learning or Grammar Translation Method of Teaching Spanish. One of my goals is to keep the student challenged and motivated with exercises adapted to the student's interest. I have a comfortable space in my apartment for tutoring, however I am always happy to travel to another location if necessary. I am passionate about my culture and my country. It is a wonderful experience for me to teach my language to different people. I enjoy engaging and motivating students to learn a foreign language helping them to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of a different language and culture.
