This might be a long one. Working Garvey Collective is like a breath of fresh air from the start. I was her intern and I loved every minute of it. I was thankful enough to work with someone that values me. Even if i didn’t understand a topic, she would go over it until I understood. I usually make things harder (I’m an overthinker) and she taught me an easier way of doing things. She taught me how to make numerous pieces. She taught me how to tweak a pattern. I learned how to finally cut on bias. I also had a very hard time grading patterns. She made sure I got that down packed. Working with her was such a great time (sisterhood vibes). When it comes to her she is by far the best when it comes down to garment construction. Listen you won’t be disappointed when taking any class with her. I learned so much within 6 months! Xoxo
