FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The most important thing to understand is that paying a couple of hundred dollars more for a true professional can save you thousands of dollars in taxes. A Enrolled Agent is heavily experienced in taxation and will be able to provide far more value than tax preparer with no certification. Fees are completely based on the complexity of a client’s tax return. We will discuss the situation and assess what is most appropriate. Don't go for the lower priced tax preparation right away, you could be costing yourself a great deal of money in lost tax savings.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Any new customer I work with will be setup on a secure client portal to share his or her documents. He/she will also sign an engagement letter so both parties are comfortable and protected. After the client has uploaded all documents to the portal, I get to work. When the job is done, I explain everything to the client and make sure they understand their tax situation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Along with a French CPA license, a U.S. Enrolled Agent and a master’s degree in international Taxation, I have worked at some of the largest public tax firms in the country for many years. I have managed tax accounts for some of the wealthiest Americans, as well as accounts for the every day worker.
