- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It depends on what you would like! Vegetarian catering/meal plan options are cheapest (start at 20 per person for a 3 course meal), pastry or cake per person start at 8 per person, and gluten free pastry or cakes start at 10 per person.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Please tell me the estimate of people expected, frequency, and what your budget is. Chances are I can work within what you are hoping to pay and can give a more accurate suggestion of budget-friendly or luxurious catering/pastry/ cake decorating options. I work with three sites- one in Queens, one in Manhattan, and one in Brooklyn, to ensure a hassle free delivery and/or pick up process. Please state any dietary restrictions/culinary expectations up front and I will work within those guidelines. I always want to introduce clients to new grains and more nutritious catering options, as I hope someday you will be able to make these recipes yourself! But since it's time to indulge, my culinary training is classically French and Mediterranean, so expect only the delicious and delightful!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for 6 years cooking in restaurants and catering companies, and an additional 2 years with CSA programs and as a nutrition educator.
