Abes Art Hanging, Wall Mounting & Handyman Service
About this pro
Really great work overall, Abe clearly knows what he is doing, will work with again!Jul 18, 2018Verified
He was great help in mounting my tv. Was able to fit me in on short notice and his quotes are very good. He came and got the job done quickly while still having a personality. Even though I’m good with my hands he was able to explain the more technical parts well. Would definitely recommend.Mar 27, 2018Verified
Extremely collaborative and professional with great attention to detail. Also has an artistic eye so he's much more than a typical handyman. I had previously hired an interior decorator who sketched out a photo gallery with 2 rows of 8 frames. It turns out she measured incorrectly, and Abe was able to suggest something that was much better. Abe worked efficiently - much faster than I expected or was quoted by multiple people. He even offered to go to a specialty store to get the right hardware ahead of the job. I found the rate to be reasonable, and I'm really happy with the job. Plus, he's a very pleasant person. Will definitely use again.Jun 17, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have fairly standard pricing, based on an hourly fee of about $40 an hour, time and a half for electrical work, & small surcharges for requests involving special tools or bringing a ladder.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I simply ask for a clear outline of what you want done & the best info you can give me if I have questions for you about specifics at your place. We're trying to be efficient here after all & no one likes feeling like someone else is wasting their time or money.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?As I indicated, I soaked up a lot from growing up around a father who seemed to continually be working on some kind of home improvement, & beyond that my college background as an artist finely attuned me to the kind of elegant details that give good handyman work a real finesse.
