- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In general, I charge a standard hourly rate for my work. However, since writing projects are so varied - creative writing, ghost writing, technical, social media/marketing - I establish an hourly rate based on the complexity or time intensity of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I like to get a clear idea of what my new customer wants to accomplish. I prefer talking to a new customer on the phone for about 15 to 30 min so I can hear what gets them excited about the project that I'm going to work on for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have both a Bachelor's and Master's degree, completed several creative writing courses and workshops, and have over 18 years experience as a freelance writer and editor. I have over 5 years writing grant-winning proposals in the amount of $700,000 which is attests to my persuasive and compelling writing style. I also create marketing concepts (slogans, taglines, product/service descriptions) for a variety of small business.
