Introduction: I was not born a naturally gifted educator and I’m honestly still in awe of where I'm at today. I persevered through for years knowing that I had found something that truly mattered to me. This practice changed my life completely, and that’s why I knew I needed to share it with others. In 2019 I relocated from San Francisco to NYC. I’m 500hr trained and my thought process and style is primarily influenced by my teacher Jason Crandell. The past 9 years have allowed me to refine and polish my approach to the practice to one that I believe fits the needs of modern day yogi's. When practicing with me, expect to find a structured sequence that teaches skills and technique, well paced verbal communication, methodology that extends outside the realm of yoga (correctional exercise, mobility, etc) and a carefully curated environment that help us stay engaged with our practice. My hope is connect to practitioners to the various aspects of what it means to be fully present.

If one is looking for a private yoga instructor – Jacob is who you need! It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or advanced, have an injury or not. I started working with Jacob post shoulder surgery so it was important that I work with someone who understands various physical limitations and modify the practice accordingly. Now I am doing headstands and working on handstands!! I have taken his group classes and they were awesome as well – it was clear that he was more experienced than any of the other class teachers. Jacob loves what he does – it is not just a way to make money. Namaste!!

I price based upon my experience and worth. I take pride in my job as an educator of this subject matter. I've spent thousands on my education and many hours refining what I've learned. I also understand individuals needs. If you're financial straights and a price adjustments would help out, lets talk.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll start by going through various movement assessments (often found in personal training) while inquiring about their goals in order to gage where we should start and what direction we should head into. Yoga stretches in many different directions so we definitely want to know what road we want to dive into.
