Djenab’s yoga sessions are a true reflection of her values and personality. She is encouraging, inviting, warm, and real. Her ability to create a vibe that allows for self-exploration via healthy challenge is remarkable, and her queues and guidance create space for self-improvement and reflection. I particularly appreciate Djenab’s approach to remote classes - her cadence and presence allow her to eliminate distance with words and generate an intimate and personal space of practice. I am particular when it comes to my yoga practice, and that particularity comes from both stubbornness and insecurity. Djenab’s space is safe and her guided practice accessible. Above all, she genuinely cares for the well-being of her students, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Those are the reasons why I will continue to practice yoga with Djenab.

Whether you have practiced for years or are a newcomer to yoga, I highly recommend trying a yoga course with Djenab. As someone very familiar with yoga, I will always prefer to have a teacher who meets me where I am. Djenab does just that. She focuses on the foundations in yoga, which is really what the core of what any yoga practice should be. Djenab also has a wide array of flows she can guide you through, including for when you’re looking to challenge yourself physically to when you’re looking to dig deep emotionally. I particularly enjoy her yin flow, where she guides you through a practice to release stress and emotional baggage through yin postures. If you’re at all interested in digging deeper into crafting a personalized yoga practice for inner growth, I highly recommend trying a class out with Djenab.

DJENAB is an INCREDIBLE teacher. She paces really well and provided thoughtful explanations around each pose and the practice overall. Highly recommend.

I've never tried a Zoom yoga class before, but Djenab made me feel comfortable and in-the-zone right away. I'll definitely be taking more classes in the future!

I've taken two yoga classes with Djenab now, and both were excellent! I'm definitely a beginner when it comes to yoga, but Djenab really takes the time to walk you through each of the movements and emphasizes just doing what feels right for your body and not comparing yourself to others. I love that she teaches more active vinyasa flows (my heart was really pumping!) as well as more relaxed yin postures. She also is just a lovely person with a very calming voice! I would definitely check her out if you're interested in exploring yoga for the first time or enhancing your existing yoga practice.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We can set up a brief consultation via Zoom to talk through goals and expectations, and then from there choose an initial meeting time. Scheduling ahead of time is important for me to plan and to make sure that you commit to showing up. During each session, I will ask you how you feel, so that we can tailor in real time.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I have worked with beginners in their 20s and beginners in their 70s, as well as people in intermediate and more advanced stages of their yoga practice. I believe there is always room for growth in yoga and meditation, because it is about the journey, not the destination. My practices aim to challenge in a supportive environment, so that you get better at listening to your body over time.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    It will take more than one session. Each practice is different, and it is a give-and-take. I need to know how you feel, so that I can adjust as need be to help reach your goals, be it to increase stamina, cardio, flexibility, or mindfulness.
