We could not be more pleased than to have discovered Windkanter Construction. From estimate to completion, it was a smooth, collaborative project and positive experience. Marty, Eli and Mike worked tirelessly to create a BEAUTIFUL cedar deck, complete with multiple gates to keep the puppies safely enclosed. Words describing Windkanter would be artisan, skilled craftsmen and old fashioned ‘service with a smile’! Truly high calibre.

I couldn’t be happier with the restoration of the staircase in my 1800s Victorian home as well as the full kitchen remodel. Marty and his team are courteous and professional, and Marty’s passion for providing high quality work while offering green alternatives to conventional building products made for a great experience overall.

I had what I thought was a simple siding job. It ended up being more rot than we had thought. The contractor was superb in showing me what what was going on, how it effected my house, and what had to be done. It was much more affordable than I thought is was going to be and multiplied my housing value due to the structural integrity they provided.

Marty is such an amazing guy. He's worked with me on everything I've needed to repair and improve my home after having a fire during the beginning of the pandemic, including offering guidance on things that would help cut costs and ways that we can maximize my budget to get everything I've been hoping for and needing. Everyone he's recommended and had working in my home has been fabulous too! They're all so courteous, fast working (they installed a half bath at the opposite end of the house from the nearest water line in about one day's worth of work). Marty and the folks he works with are kind, funny and personable, and most importantly they were also all really sweet with my kids- chatting with them, telling them jokes, etc. It can be stressful having people coming in and out of your house to do construction work but these guys are always a joy to have. Every time they're here working I'm even happier that I've got them here to help make my house a home again.

I am very pleased, 100% satisfied with the work WindKanter Construction performed. I had major deck work done, basically a total rebuild. In the beginning I had several questions/concerns. Each one was addressed accordingly. The quality of work was top notch, detailed and precise. The many years of experience & skills Marty and crew brought with them was evident throughout. I highly recommend them and with no hesitancy would call upon them again. They were great to have around, both personably and in respecting my property, total clean ups. They are honest & trustworthy, have total confidence in.
