Introduction: Like most tutors, I am masterful in my subject areas, but my experience as a counselor makes me particularly sensitive and responsive to the emotional needs of students that often accompany their academic needs, making my service stand out above the others. I worked with Mr. Kochmanski for a years length of time covering the studies of Physics, Algebra and Statistics, and Anatomy and Physiology II which were required subjects to receive the credits necessary to get into a very competitive program at Trocaire college. Mr. Kochmanski helped me develop skills that enabled me to problem solve dependent on my skills not just using a calculator to do the work for me, by me. How to read and problem solve physics problems. Taught me the basic fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry, so that physics could make more sense. I was a below average liberal arts student, didn't have the knowledge or background in math or science, I literally was in "fear" of these subjects. Mr. Kochmanski taught me to make friends with the numbers and letters and provided me understanding to use them for their purpose and function. It was very difficult, my brain felt like a rubiks cube being pulled and manipulated, but it open a world to me I never knew existed, a universe that I, we live in, everything is science. Then the fear started to go away because then there is an outcome of confidence you can rely on yourself for answers independently. It is extremely beautiful celebration to know yourself as one person and through determination and conviction know a person that becomes a well-rounded life learner. With Mr. Kochmanski's expertise I have knowledge that no person can ever take away from me that in its self is a gift and precious privilege, I also was inducted to Phi Theta Kappa and was accepted into Trocaire's Radiologic Technology Program. Very impressive if I do say so myself. Mr. Kochmanski is empathetic and patient, he is brilliant but still understands that people are all different in their learning competences and capacities that is a true professional teacher. Knowledge is one aspect but when a teacher can deliver it as well that is magic. He believes in the student and he has a passion for his craft. I am a humanitarian at heart and he made a difference that helped me make difference in me. I am a positive person so I didn't see improvements needed other than I wish that I wasn't under the pressure I put on myself to enjoy the learning more. All I can say if you are struggling and need a teacher that can truly help and make a difference Mr. Kochmanski is the man for the job, and I am grateful for the opportunity of working with Mr. Kochmanski.

Paul, tutored my daughter for regents Biology and now Chemistry. Paul is an excellent tutor! He knows how to explain the material in a way that she truly understands the material and is not just memorizing. He is very patient and you can see he enjoys teaching. My daughter finds her tutoring sessions interesting and so helpful! I highly recommend Paul as a tutor!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Talk on the phone about their needs and see if I believe I am able to assist. 2) Schedule a mutually agreeable time at a mutually agreeable location. 3) Upon meeting, establish rapport, assess current abilities and needs, assist client with whatever work they present as highest priority, or work on fundamental tasks that may need development. 4) Follow up in a couple days to see if client was satisfied and wishes to schedule another session.
