Introduction: I have practice using proven methods to overcome issues you may have with your voice. Here are some key things you can expect to achieve from lessons: - Gain power in your head voice - Bridge effortlessly between your chest and head voice - Alleviate vocal issues when screaming or singing with distortion - Project your voice (both singing and speaking) without straining - If you're just getting started, learn how to sing with good technique from a fun, encouraging, and patient teacher I get great joy from singing, and I'd love to share that with you. Rock singing in particular is a passion for me, but the techniques I teach are applicable to a range of musical styles.

Sean is undoubtedly the best voice coach I have worked with. I’ve been singing rock/hard rock at a high level for 10 years (multiple original and cover bands in NY and CA), but my ability to sing with distortion without hurting my voice has been limited. Sean gave me an eye-opening explanation of the principles and tricks I could use to sing distorted parts without hurting my voice, and its been a game changer!! Sean is patient and encouraging in his approach, and if I'm not getting something at first, he finds another way to explain and demonstrate it. He also keeps it fun and engaging by mixing in an appropriate amount of humor. Most importantly, he expresses a genuine care for helping me reach my singing goals. After our lessons, he follows up with helpful notes to remind me of what we'd gone over and the practices I should be doing to improve my technique. It's been a pleasure working with Sean, and I'd highly recommend him!!!

Sean was great to work with for singing lessons - knowledgeable, patient and helpful! He has a great understanding of anatomical theory and how that affects the process singing and his explanations of that help you visualize what to do to improve. He also sent very helpful notes, reminders and exercises so I could remember what I was doing to practice between lessons. Personally, I was very much at the beginner status and nervous about singing anywhere except along to the radio in my car, but Sean was very personable and funny which helped me relax more. I imagine he'd be great with more experienced singers too, based on his knowledge and experience with singing.

As I get deeper and deeper into my journey as a guitarist, I'm really wanting more as a singer. I've always felt a lack of confidence onstage and off. Sean is really great about finding where I can improve and taking me through practice techniques and helping me find what works for my specific goals. He is patient and receptive to where I am in my progress. And I'm pretty pleased with my progress. I feel very optimistic in terms of my artistic goals. I have nothing but great things to say. Sincerely, Jesse "Gushing with Possibility" Sample

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge $30 for weekly half-hour lessons, $35 for every other week. It's $45 for weekly 45 minute-long lessons, $50 for every other week. And it's $60 per weekly hour-long lessons, $65 for every other week. All are payable before the start of each month. For the very first lesson, you pay at least a day in advance for just that single lesson at the weekly rate.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I have an initial set of questions to send you about what things you want to work on and where you're currently at so we can hit the ground running. We'll start our first lesson with an evaluation in which I'll give you specific practices to start working on for the fastest improvement.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've played bass guitar for 25+ years, been in multiple rock bands on bass, rhythm guitar and as a front man, and taken 3 different online voice programs plus lessons from 3 different instructors. This experience has helped me learn what works for the fastest improvement.
