FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 200RYT. I am always looking to continue my educational achievements as I feel that I am never done learning as a yoga instructor. I keep my classes fresh by attending teaching workshops and going to master yogis classes and retreats. I don't like to focus on one style of yoga as I feel they all have something to offer. I have a laundry list of trainings I will achieve. Next up SUP yoga, Ayurveda nutrition program, and prenatal yoga (when I get there myself ;))
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I practiced yoga for years before I realized that all I want in my life is to be happy. Why must we go to work each day only to wish for the weekend and what lies when we punch out at 5pm? I want to wake up each day inspired and I believe in order to do so you must love what you do in some way or another. I believe yoga at the time was the only one thing I undoubtedly was passionate about. I signed up for teacher training and it was the biggest door I have ever opened for myself.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach group/private yoga classes. Gentle Yoga, Foundations Yoga, Vinyasa Flow (heated and non-heated) Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and SUP or Stand Up Paddle Yoga. I am always open to donation based classes and fundraisers. I teach monthly workshops involving health and wellness. I teach yoga classes at art festivals and events.
