Lucky Jak's made a potentially difficult move very easy. Picking up furniture from Long Island and bringing it to the East Village is already difficult with regard to unpredictable logistics such as traffic and parking. With the added factor of dealing with people and their possessions it can easily get tricky. Yet, Jaime and his team were professional, extremely organized and efficient. They were also very personable (and genuinely nice). I appreciated their willingness to take on a move in a walk-up apartment building and in assisting me in determining if a couch would fit through a small hallway to my apartment -and talking through my options. I highly recommend them for any moving job -big or small.

Both Brian and Rob were very hands on and made the hectic process of moving so much easier, I wish I could have had them the whole day! Brian was so thoughtful in how he approached every facet of the move and the attention to detail put me at ease. Will recommend them to any friend moving.

The people at Lucky JAK's were amazing! The price was so amazing compared to all of the other places that quotes me (i moved at the end of the month, most other movers had end of month surges and were quoting me $700+ for a 0.4 mile move with only a few pieces of furniture). Beyond that, the movers were super friendly and efficient. The managed my entire move in about 2 hours and had a great positive attitude the entire time. Highly recommend them, would absolutely use them again.
