Please allow me to start with our estimated pricing first as this may clear up any confusion. 4 hour wedding-$850 with each additional hour at $175. All other events start at $125 an hour with each additional hour at $125. Travel and additional requested service may apply. (Please be leery of DJ's who charge a cheap rate as low as $495....why so cheap?) Now, about me: In business for over 20 years, having done over 2000 events,( 575 weddings to date) all over the tri-state area, I'm confident I can show you and your guests a wonderful time! Working with Carl for our wedding was an amazing experience. He responded to all of our emails in a timely and professional manner. When it came to the day of the wedding he was meticulous in his music selections using our suggestions, his own knowledge of music and requests from our guests. Several of our guests commented and complimented not only the music but Carl himself for being enthusiastic and personable. Everyone can tell that Carl truly enjoys music and bringing life to the dance floor. Carl provided us with the perfect wedding music at an unbeatable value and we would recommend him to any couple looking for a wedding DJ. Carl was so wonderful as the DJ for our wedding at West Point, NY! I had such a hard time finding someone affordable without getting all the extra crazy "fluff," and was so relieved when I found Carl. He was professional and personable from the very first contact, and beyond helpful in helping us construct a playlist and timeline for the reception while respecting our preferences. He worked hard to make sure he knew what kind of vibe we were going for, and was attentive to the details like name pronunciations, playing great music for dinner, and coordinating with the caterer and our venue coordinator during the reception - he didn't need to interrupt us for anything. We had a mostly younger crowd at our wedding, and the dance floor was packed the entire time! Even a lot of the older crowd couldn't resist getting out on the floor because he picked fun songs for them too. I cannot say enough about the quality of Carl's work at our wedding, and so many of my friends came up to me during and after the reception raving about how great the DJ was. I absolutely recommend him for quality, service, and affordability! Thank you so much Carl for helping to make our day so much fun without breaking our bank!!

Carl Dayton was the DJ/MC for our wedding. We were very specific about what type of music we wanted played and he followed that. He helped everything flow smoothly, from introductions, to the dances, to the cake cutting. I was just able to enjoy the reception, not having to worry about those details. So glad he was our DJ!

Carl was our DJ for our wedding, and he was so amazing. I had older people and a wedding party full of some none dancers. Carl was able to get everyone out there and dance and really have a great time. I'm and 90's kid and I never felt more like a teenager dancing with all the fun music I grew up with. We had so many comments on what a great DJ Carl is. Carl was very organized with how everything ran through out the wedding and we had great communication. Carl did a great set up with the bridal party entrance, that each couple came in to the reception to there own song, which made it so fun. Carl you are so great, we had so much fun i can't thank you enough for everything you did. I would recommend Carl to anyone and everyone!!!!

We couldn't be happier with choosing Carl as our wedding DJ! Carl delivered throughout the day, beginning with his help in coordinating/executing the wedding procession and making announcements throughout for everything from introductions, toasts to reminding our guests about signing our guest book. Carl offers help and guidance with the wedding schedule, but his flexibility in carrying out our non-traditional plans in a traditional format was key in making our wedding an absolute hit with all of our guests and family. In addition to his own selection of music we were extremely happy with, we provided a list of requests from each of our guests (from our RSVP cards), and Carl worked each one seamlessly into the day while still accommodating impromptu requests all while maintaining the laid back yet formal wedding atmosphere we were looking for we don't have a single area that we would have changed given the opportunity in hindsight Carl nailed it from start to finish. Thanks again Carl, we hope to be happy customers again for another event, and will very gladly recommend you to our friends/family for their events, and hope this review does justice in influencing folks looking for their own events I can see how your services would be just as enjoyable in events beyond a wedding. How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a radio disc jockey for over 25 years so it was just a natural transformation. It's just another way of showing my skills.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common are weddings. We do on average about 30 per year and enjoy an outstanding reputation thanks to our clients! We can be upbeat or low key as we are comfortable doing both. with over 20 years in the business we are extremely confident in what we do. It is your event and your day...not ours. Some dj companies "love" to steal the show and make it about them, the day is about the client. Besides weddings, we do just about any event/party and are considered a full service dj/mc company.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions. Anyone who is good at what they do enjoys talking about it to make you feel comfortable. Remember: There is nothing like experience when it comes to making your day enjoyable.
