I cannot say enough good things about them! It was such a pleasure to work with everyone that I intereacted with at this company. From getting an estimate, to their patience with last minute changes, to moving on the final day- these guys are pros!! Ross, Johnny, Bojan and Bojan, they were all fantastic! Resonable pricing, were just lovely to speak with and coordinate things on the phone for pick up details that were scheduled last minute, they arrived on time, gave me text updates as they loaded the truck (I had to leave them to collect the keys at an off-site address for my new apartment). 100% reliable and excellent service! They were done loading and unloading in a jiffy! The team was kind and polite all through the process. I was moving some items from my apartment to a storage unit. I was in a time crunch because the building charges $50 an hour to use the freight elevator after 5pm. Magical made it on time and moved very quickly, moving my items having to use the freight elevator pinky one time. They arrived with dollies and loaded up and whisked everything away. They arrived at my unit and unloaded everything and I was extremely happy. Moving is stressful enough without having to worry about what movers to use. I got upfront pricing that was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

I needed to move all my big furniture and I found Magical Moving & Storage through Thumbtack. Had multiple conversations with Ross. He answered all my questions and concerns before my move. My landlord needed a COI and they were able to get it done within a few hours. On the day of my move Milo and Dragon communicated with me about their arrival. They were very quick and efficient in getting my items wrapped and loaded. When we got to my new apartment they unloaded and put everything together in the places I specified. Something that would have taken us all day to do ourselves took them a couple of hours. Everything went very smoothly. They were both very friendly and communicative. We would definitely use Magical Moving in the future!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have two pricing systems, flat-rate move or hourly move.
|Flat Rate|
Flat-rate is the flat estimate, based on the information you provided to us. Flat-rate quotes are being calculated in a guaranteed pricing system and our quotes are based on:
-list of items you provide to us (furniture, boxes, items that require special handling, stairs)
-distance between locations (pick up - delivery)
-our availability for day you requested
|Hourly Prices|
The clock for the labor starts once the movers arrive at the pick up location and the clock ends when whey finish setting up your items at the delivery location.
Our hourly prices are:
2 people and a van - $120.00
3 people and a van - $160.00
Any additional man is $40.00 per hour.
The minimum to book the hourly move is 2 hours of labor and 0.5 hours of travel time.

First of all, we will go over the details with you in order to provide you with an accurate price and to better understand your moving needs. We will make sure to understand your moving needs and we will do our best to not mislead you with the price and to provide you with an exceptional services. We will answer all of your questions and we will treat you as a family.
