FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
any lessons that are further than a 10 minute drive inquire an additional fee. for exact pricing/rates please contact me directly and I'll be happy to discuss rates/fees and accommodate where needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get to know my student and learn as much as possible about their history with the arts and music, any family musicians or history of musixians or major musical influence in the family and what their ultimate goals are with music. For example I had an elderly client who incorporated piano i to her physical therapy so that her joints would stay healthy as possible. I have had parents of my younger students demand their child learn Chopin but yet the student just wants to play their favorite pop tunes and be able to rock out with their friends in a future band they have big olans of in their future years. In instances in which thw child has different wishes for their musical outcome than their parents, I try to remind parents that by keeping music fun and not as an "assignment/homework", they have a much better outcome for their child to not only stick with music lessons presently, but also to love, enjoy and continue to play music years from now.
