Thank you for making my special day that much more special. We danced all night long, and everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The constant communication and flexibility in music preperation and requests on the day of, were all met. You guys played every song on my playlist!!!!!! AMAZING. While Darrel was a very kind individual who was very pleasant to interact with, we unfortunately would not recommend him to others as a wedding DJ. Darrel made many promises regarding his willingness to stick to our playlist. He assured us that he had DJed at events where his clients provided a list of 100 songs and he played them all. We provided Darrell with a list of approximately 150 songs, and very few of them were actually played at our wedding reception. While this was the most egregious offense (promising to adhere to our wishes and then not doing so), there were other issues we encountered. Prior to our wedding date we had a few email interactions with Darrel, which were all entirely unprofessional. After asking him to draw up a schedule for the reception (based on an extensive in person conversion we had), he sent us a draft that contained many errors. These errors ranged from getting the start time of our reception wrong, to including events that we specifically told him we did not want (e.g., garter toss), to events we never even spoke about (e.g., father of the bride giving a speech — which was never supposed to happen). We emailed multiple times with specific (numbered) questions, most of which went without being answered. Finally, when it came time to MC any part of the reception, the announcements were awkward and halting. The transitions between speeches/announcements and music were quite long and also very awkward. In sum, Darrel may be an excellent DJ for other types of venues, but I would not recommend him for a wedding reception.

Mr Hutchinson was absolutely fantastic. His music selections were varied, up beat, and highly appropriate. He did his best to accommodate requests, and his announcements were on par, even though we didn't give him a concrete schedule (my fault). He played nearly every song requested initially for us, and had a great sense of humor with the games, adding something beyond the scripts. He was so fast to answer any questions and concerns raised, offered more than once to meet with us in person (we live 2 hours away) to discuss the event, and in my opinion seriously under priced himself. he was amazingly affordable, included a photobooth that he kept an eye on for us, and was very polite with anyone who talked to him. he was right on time, which for the distance he travelled, was impressive. we never had to wait on him for anything. The quality of the sound set up was excellent. often times djs go for volume over clarity and he had a great ear for where the sound needed to be. he encouraged participation in dances, games, and songs played. overall he made a great addition to my wedding and i would absolutely recommend him.

Very professional, had all the proper paperwork. Arrived with plenty of time for set up. Great music mix, kept everyone dancing. Friendly and accommodating with the younger kids and teens. Great Latin music would definitely use them again.

College graduates of SUNY Purchase, Berklee Music College, and Full sail Universoty, and OCCC. All of our DJ's are currently or have been featured on radio in New York and Florida.
