Mr. Johnnathan Cela and his crew did an outstanding job installing the floors and baseboard heat cover in my house. He was very responsive to my input and acted positively on my comments and criticism. I was very satisfied with his work and would rehire him again.

Johnnathan is great, very thorough. From the start he was super responsive, came out to size up the job: My old front-porch steps were sinking, Johnnathan saw that a new concrete slab was needed. He offered the option of keeping the old steps or building new ones, he drew up a detailed estimate with both options. I went with the slab and new steps. We ran into roadblocks: A lot of rainy weather and the town code inspector asking for things like extra bracing supports, hand-graspable rail, etc. Johnnathan adapted to this all, and wrote up the additional costs so that I was comfortable with what was going on. With all that, the job took longer than expected, but the final result was excellent. I'd definitely use Shaping Houses again. In fact, I had Johnnathan create some rough designs for a backyard deck and likely will start on those later this year.

I have worked with several businesses on Thumbtack and Johnathan is the best. Him and his workers did an amazing job. He stayed in contact with me leading up to the project date and guided me through the whole process. They arrived on time and ready to work. They transformed my basement and shed in one day. Had them do a demo and removal of my already partial collapsed detached garage. They were extremely professional. I needed them to remove an old car before doing, and they were great at doing so. They took the time to properly pull it out before demo. Then the team demolished and removed the debris AROUND the removed car. They were amazing and took great care to leave the space looking great. Would highly recommend!!!

We offer a reasonable pricing. Our pricing depends on our estimated length of the project, how much help (employees) we will need each day at the project, and how much professional work will be required on each project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first converse of cost of material and labor. Then we discuss the time period we want to set to complete the project as well as have the materials ready before our team arrives. That depends on who is responsible for the materials.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well not much, most of my knowledge comes from experience. But I do have a degree in economics. If you want to have a deep conversation about politics and economics, let’s go! Lol.
