I am moving into a new place and wanted it painted before I moved in. The colors I requested were match perfectly. In one of the rooms the color that was being covered over was a dark red and the care with which this was accomplished was great. The place was left very clean and it was clear they had taken good care of my wood floors. I was very happy with the price that was quoted to me and feel they were giving me exceptional value. I highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Wow--Miguel and his team at MDZ Painting & Remodeling did an outstanding job on my project. I'm a real estate investor and needed substantial paint and remodeling work done on a 3400-square foot property, and found MDZ on Thumbtack. Their work was top quality, done efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail. Things you might not even notice (unless you look closely) were done, and done well. In one bathroom, there was very old wallpaper that needed to be removed, which had covered up wall damage underneath. MDZ removed it, fixed everything, and basically remade an entirely new wall there--it now looks perfect. They patched and repaired various ceiling and wall areas, fixed closet doors that had come off the hinges (or were missing), and did a full kitchen cabinet refacing, complete with hardware. It was a big, multi-day project, and at the end, they left the place very clean--cleaner than it was when they first arrived. I had excellent communication with Miguel throughout, and MDZ was highly professional in every aspect. The team was very considerate of my time, my stuff (which was scattered around), and they coordinated very smoothly with the other contractors I had working at the property at the same time. After the original contract, I was so impressed that I asked Miguel for a second contract for other projects I had, which he then started on right away. Now I'm looking at asking at hem to return to do some flooring work. Miguel has also advised me on various other aspects of the project--he has a really comprehensive understanding of construction and renovation, both the functional and aesthetic elements, and a "can-do," positive approach, which is rare these days. If you have a painting or remodeling project, you can't do better than MDZ.
