About
Hi! I'm a classically trained SAG-AFTRA actor (BFA Acting, Emerson College) who's been in the film and television business since 1997. I have worked in LA and NY. I currently have a recurring role on Chris Meloni's show Happy! on Netflix, I'm on Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building (Golden Globe, EMMY nom Best Comedy), and I currently have a recurring role on Ryan Murphy’s( American Horror Story, Glee, etc) 2nd season of FEUD as somebody real real famous. My point is: If you want to work in the business, study with someone who works in the business. Some of the things I do: -I help students with monologues to audition for college-I just had one get in on a scholarship to the renowned BFA Acting program at SUNY Purchase. Another got into the Summer Program at The Atlantic Theatre, here in NYC. Yet another spent her summer studying at Stella Adler. A student of mine just signed a two year contract with UTA for News Broadcasting. Things we work on: your personal connection. who are you talking to? how are they reacting? what is the climax? how does your character change over the course of the speech? -I coach other actors thru scene study and self-tape auditions for everything from under-fives and co-stars to series regulars and feature films. One booked a co-star on FBI, another worked on Harlem this Spring. Things we work on: your personal connection to the scene, want and need, conflict, secret, as well as camera technique, and what goes in to making a professional self-tape. -I also help newer actors break into the business, getting their packages together to submit and win auditions and roles! If you want to be an actor and don’t know where to start, I can help you! Things we work on: Resume, Headshots, Taping scenes to submit for auditions on Actors Access, what to do once an audition comes in. Reach out for a free consultation! We’ll see where you’re at and what you need, and I’ll do anything I can to help. I live in Manhattan, these days I teach and coach mostly on Zoom, but if you are in the area I am available to work in person! I am an extremely busy human being, please only reach out if you are TRULY serious!!! Good Luck! Stay Positive!

Jeff is the BEST! He's a real genuine soul with high spirits :) He's very flexible with scheduling, and makes one feel welcomed and comfortable. He's helped me understand scripts in new ways, as well as enjoys being experimental when crafting a character! Altogether, a fun, funny, and awesome coach/dude!!!!!!

I had the pleasure of taking Jeffery Emerson's Intro to Acting Workshop. In it Jeffrey introduced many acting techniques, like how to make the most of one line by examining the circumstances of the scene, how to add scope, range and impact to a monologue, and how to actively listen and react to your scene partner. Instead of focusing on one method of acting, Jeffrey gives his students a wide breadth of information, making the class nimble and fun! For those of us just dipping our toe into the world of acting, I found it a welcome, accessible and overall enjoyable experience! Highly recommend!
