Can't say enough about Jake. Had a plumbing problem in the morning and he showed up that afternoon to fix the issue. Friendly, knowledgeable, responsive and would definitely hire him again.

I had an urgent and timely need for a professional plumber who could assess my situation, deal with plumbing in a 120 year old building and replace the necessary parts. Jack is extremely responsive, honest and professional. He was finishing up another job when I messaged on Thumbtack about my plumbing issue. He called and came right away to check out a clog I had in the kitchen and a leaking dishwasher. He fixed it on the spot and was very reasonable with his pricing as well. Jack was extremely helpful. We had an emergency over a holiday weekend with our kitchen sink overflowing, and despite Jack being out of town for the holiday, he took a genuine interest and figured out what was going on (through pictures and descriptions) and provided us with helpful tips to help stem the flow to a manageable level while we waited for a plumber to come in at the end of the weekend. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will always give the customer the best price for the best value. I do not believe in inflating prices or taking advantage. For me, the customer always comes first.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will reach out to find out all the details of the project / issue. Then I will find out what day / time they need me to come. I will give a quote for the project and arrive on confirmed date and time. I will assess the project and if any details may change - notify the customer before doing any other work and notify if there would be a price change before doing anything - then I would proceed in the direction the customer wants.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken many courses for New York State, some including Gas Work Qualification, OSHA 30, CPR & AED etc.
