Jim did an outstanding job repairing an antique oak rocker with cane seat. The job took about 2 weeks from drop off to pick up and was worth the wait to get it back. Jim also made sure all supports and hardhwear were secure, then cleaned it up. I would definitely recommend Jim to others if they treasure their antiques.

Leon repaired and refinished several of my best pieces of furniture, including very old antiques. His work is very high quality. We discussed what he was going to do in a very amicable manner. I have very much enjoyed working with Leon and look forward to working with him again.

Ely Lira reupholstered an antique (approximately 80-90 years old) recliner/glider chair for us. the antique piece belonged to my husband's grandfather and was in such poor condition we were considering throwing it out. The cushions were completely torn, the wood was scratched, and the springs were broken to the point where when you sat on the chair, you practically sat all the way down to the floor! That's where Ely came in! Ely came to our apartment to give us a free estimate. He provided us with a selection of fabrics and also a recommendation of a fabric store in our location. He came back to pick up the chair as well as the fabric (3 trips to our apartment by this point). He completed the work in about 2 weeks and the personally delivered the chair back to us. WOW, what can I say but the chair looks OUTSTANDING! I could never imagine that it would look as good as it does. The fabric looks perfect, the springs are springy, and even the wood has been de-scuffed. We are SO happy with the work. I would definitely recommend Ely's work to anybody looking to get an antique piece of furniture reupholstered.

Glen did an AMAZING job restoring an antique table that has been in my family for 4 generations. I was very nervous to have anyone refinish the top or repair the leg, but I am glad I trusted Glen to do so. He was super responsive, friendly, professional and takes pride in his work. The table now looks the perfect balance of polished and distressed. Thank you Glen!!! (3 before photos and 1 after photo attached)

Kunga did a great job repairing an antique chair that was really quite badly damaged. I am so pleased with the way the chair looks and functions now. He turned a useless chair into quite a lovely object again-- It is a lovely piece of furniture, now. He is a lovely person and he was responsible and professional. I would recommend his work. He cares about doing a good job and that seems a rare thing these days...He also did the job in a timely and courteous manner. Again, I appreciated his style and sunstance. He cares about his craft!

He did an outstanding job on my XVIII century table. It was a table my grandfather, an Italian antique dealer, donated to my mother as part of her dowry. I grew up with this table so I was a bit apprehensive about finding someone able to restore it well. I was delighted to see the end result. Darrel is very skillful and loves his job. Fast service and great communication throughout the whole process.

Miguel repaired an antique bookshelf and chair for us. He repaired the glass doors and fixtures on the shelf and fixed the upholstery and frame of the chair. Both pieces are very valuable to us, mostly for sentimental reasons, and Miguel fixed them beautifully and with an amount of care that made us feel like our treasured pieces were in very good hands. He explained what he thought was necessary for the repairs every step of the way. He picked up and dropped off the pieces at times that were convenient for us and finished the job very quickly. He clearly enjoys his work very much and it shows in the finished products. I highly recommend him.

My husband and I could not have been happier with Alex Mcgrory's work. He transformed our old maple school desk into a beautiful coffee table, cutting it down to size, cleaning, sanding and burnishing it, and, in general, transforming this nondescript item into a thing of real beauty. And he did all this in under a week. We recommend Alex without reservation!

Fernando is an excellent craftsman. He restored an oak round extendable table, that has traveled the world from Europe, Latin America and the US with us, and represents an over 100 years old piece of family. It is a pleasure to deal with such an open and friendly person like Fernando.
