Working with Eric has been an amazing experience! Eric is an incredible artist, as he was able to bring my ideas to life!! I reached out to Eric frantically because I had a deadline for my office to meet, and I haven't found the artist yet, until Eric reached out to me. The moment I spoke to Eric, I knew he was the artist!! He was extremely calm and creative, and worked with me all the way till the end, until we were able to finalize a draft. Eric was able to paint 5 full walls in 7 days, all whilst paying attention to detail, and bringing my artwork to life. Eric was able to make a stressful situation into a relaxing and fun one. I have already recommended him to others!! You will not regret it!!! He takes the time to understand your ideas, and leaves room for input and makes you feel heard. I reached out to Eric on Thumbtack to get a painting of our pug who recently passed. It is supposed to be a gift for my wife and Eric made sure to deliver. His attention to detail brought out the real personality of the pug. We conversed about several routes to take with the design but I leaned on Erics' expertise. Eric was able to get the painting in my hands in the matter of a couple weeks. The quote for the project was an easy decision for me. We will be contacting Eric for future projects.

I needed some photos edited that I wanted to have printed in large prints. I don’t know anything about photography or photo editing softwares so I really needed an expert to help. Eric was so helpful, kind, and professional, he worked quickly and was able to help me with what I wanted even though I lacked the photography lingo needed to communicate any of my requests clearly. He was really great. Would definitely recommend!

Eric is an incredibly talented artist and so enjoyable to work with. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. He was able to help me with a painting I wanted to give my sister for her birthday. She absolutely loved it. I gave Eric a tight timeline to work with, and he worked hard to get everything done for me quickly while still producing high quality work. What I appreciated most about working with Eric was how responsive he was and how he'd check in with me on all aspects of the project and work with me on any adjustments I wanted. Even from the get go, he explained to me the different canvas options and the different types of paints he could use, and would follow up with photos and considerations I should keep in mind. After we made those decisions, I sent him a number of inspiration photos and asked him for some custom changes - I wanted to lay a photo of my sister's family onto a different background. I wanted to change the item my sister was holding in the photo. I wanted to change the outfit of my niece in the photo. Eric was able to make all these edits for me and the painting looked better than I could have imagined! Even when he was putting on the final touches to the painting, he would send me side by sides of the original photo and any before & after versions of his painting. If I gave him feedback on even the smallest of detail, he was able to deliver. My whole family was so happy with the results, and it made the best birthday gift!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my prices on what I estimate the time to take for each job. In most cases I can not give an accurate quote without speaking to the client on the phone, because there are a lot of variables involved with murals and portraits etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to discuss the job and I offer free mockups of the client's idea before we commit to the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Fine Arts from Rutgers University and 35 years of painting experience.
