After being quoted very high prices by many NYC drapery installers, I called NY Blind and Shade store and they gave me a great price, and were here the next day first thing, and had everything installed flawlessly! Usually when you look for a drapery installer, you're going to just be getting a handyman who also happens to install drapes too. That was the problem I found with most of the people that I reached out to. What I liked was that this company specializes in window treatments. Jose has 20 years of experience, his team is great, and there was no cutting corners. I have very high windows so anything installed poorly would be a safety issue with drapes and rods falling from that height. (Potentially breaking windows, breaking things on the counter, etc.) From the moment they walked in and I saw their tools, and I saw their understanding of the project, I felt very at ease. Thank you, Jose and your team for doing an excellent job.

Jose Martinez understood immediately what we needed to repair our Roman shads. His two men who came to remove, then reinstall, the sgades were utmost professionals, knew their job inside out, were here less than 10 minutes each time. They treated our home with great respect, left absolutely no trace that they had been here. They installed top quality hardware, better than what the original store had. I recommend them very highly.

NY Blind and Shade Store is amazing. I give them my highest recommendation. They are professional and personable and, from start to finish, made the experience of buying shades easy and enjoyable. They helped me select the fabric and then beautifully installed my shades. The installers are very clean. They were responsive to all of my questions and really took the time to listen to my needs and design a work product that fits in my space with my décor. NO EVERY JOB IS DIFERENT AND PRICES TOO.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before starting a project, we ask that our clients setup a consultation with us so that we can gather your project requirements. Once we receive your requirements we will begin work after an initial deposit is made. For projects under $200, payment must be made in full. Projects higher than $200, can be paid in 2 installments, first payment before work begins, second payment final after completion of project.
