I have been an American Heart BLS instructor for 10 years and love what I do. Teaching these life saving skills to every type of person and having fun while doing it has always been my strong suit. My classes are filled with details and completely interactive, focusing in on the muscle memory of learning. They are also never boring and no one is left in the dark about these skills.
Demystifying what people understand as to what helping means. I give my students the confidence they need to assistant someone who needs that help. That CPR and First Aid is something you can't just learn by reading the materials online. Watching students that think they can't do skills actually walk out the door feeling that they CAN, that is the best part of my job.

Tanya was awesome. Highly recommend.
On Thumbtack we had gotten other offers that were lower priced but we could tell right away based on Tanya's professionalism and amiableness that she would be a better fit. And we were right!!
I love that she encouraged the 2 year old to be there. She kept her engaged the entire time which lets be honest, is not easy to do. And she retained so much more than I ever would've thought.
A few hours later me and the 2 y/o are at a restaurant and she sees my planner and asks what it is. I explain the calendar to her and say "This is today's slot--it says CPR, remember how we did that this morning?" And she just begins to exclaim "HELP HELP HELP HES NOT BREATHING! HES NOT BREATHING."
I was like ohhhhh my gooood don't shout that in a restaurant!!! Hahaha!!! Just goes to show how much even a 2 year old can retain from Tanya's training. Highly recommend.

Tanya is incredibly kind, patient, and funny. She's a wonderful instructor who will guide everyone with individual attention. Answers any and all questions and makes CPR training interesting and fun.
