Each and every person comes in with a unique set of desires, and our mission is to help them realize their vision even if that means simply finding it. There are no words for how grateful I am for this studio. The owners are incredible people who provide a warm and welcoming environment. They, along with all of the instructors, are skilled dancers and even better teachers. They are extremely patient and have the ability to break things down for each student in a way that they’ll understand–it’s truly individualized instruction. The studio offers everything from choreographing wedding dances to dancing in pro-am competitions with students, who have had huge success. I have been learning from and competing with Michael for 10 years and have experienced tremendous growth and accomplishment. They also have a variety of group classes and workshops, including fascinating, historically significant dances like the shim sham. Big Apple Ballroom parties are a blast, with mini classes followed by general dancing, awesome showcases, and fun themes. The other students are friendly, welcoming and, above all, supportive of each other. It’s like a second home to me. I wholeheartedly recommend Big Apple Ballroom.

I had the best experience with big apple ballroom. Sasha choreographed a unique, fun, and tasteful waltz for our first dance. Learning the dance was the best part of the entire wedding planning process because we could enjoy it together. Whenever we see our guests now a year later they always comment on how amazing our first dance was, how they could tell we were enjoying ourselves and how it wasnt awkward like most first dances. Plus we had the best photos from every lift and spin. Cannot recommend enough!
