- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price of private training is per hour, the rate is 115 one hour a week ( the client needs time to practice to move forward ) next session we see the progress and move on to more complex tasks and commands We offer packages of 3 and 6 classes ( 3 classes for 330 and 6 classes for 630 ) . Things that are included : - Ill go to your place to asses the issues and work with you one on one . - I carry all the necessary equipment for any situation and in different sizes from a Toy Poodle to a Neapolitan Mastiff and everything in between, my equipment goes from a gentle leaders to e-collars, you can either keep it to start practicing right away ( same price as amazon ) or I can send you the link so you can do your own research and get it. Also we do board and train the rate is 120 per day, turn around time depends in the following factors : - Breed ( this is related with the IQ isn't the same to train a Labrador or a Poodle that are on the higher spectrum than a husky or an English Bulldog) - Issues that you want to tackle ( potty train, basic training, advanced training, service dog.. etc ) - Age (over 4 moths, any time before the dog have low retention capabilities) : the younger the fastest turn around. We include the following : - 1 hour training one on one to teach you how to become the alpha of the pack, set up in house ( potty training, aggression between dogs of the same household, etc) - Walks, boarding, feeding and meds if needed, the only things that we need is the food, feeding schedule, meds, treats and vet info . - Will provide dishes, bedding, crates and playpens . - Transfer in and out The rates are : - 7 days : 840.00 - 14 days (5% off ) : 1596.00 - 21 days (10% off ) : 2268.00 - 30 days ( 15% off ): 3060.00
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Private training classes : 1.- Assessment: ( 5-10 min) Will set up your dog for failure ( separation anxiety will crate him and leave the room, aggression towards dogs will walk him until we find another dog, fear of people will get closer to people and so on... you get the idea ) Objective : I must get a clear picture of why, how and when the unwanted behavior is triggered, at the same time ill be watching you how you handle the dog, body language of the dog and you.. dog brain works different than people they have pack mentality we don't, sometimes you need a third point of view to understand and address the issues to solve them. 2.- Choosing equipment and training method : Ill give you my suggestions but you will make the final decision this are the following methods that i offer : - Positive reinforcement : uses a reward (treats, praise, toys, anything the dog finds rewarding) for desired behaviors. - Balanced training : teaches a dog desired behaviors using both reward-based techniques and aversive corrections which the dog will be introduced to once it associates a behavior with a command - E- collar training : Balanced basic training is a must the e collar is just an extra tool. 3.- Start right away the training Board and Train: We use balanced training we offer daily updates of the progress of your pup, we need 3 to 4 days to give you an approximate turn around time, if the issue cant be tackle on your budget will guide you step by step to continue the process to get rid of the unwanted behaviors
