FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $165/1 hr. session, much cheaper than other top-tier trainers. There is also a $50 virtual consultation fee ($110 in-person) during which a full history is taken with your concerns and a customized training plan is developed. This an industry standard amongst quality professionals. I have discounted packages for 4 or 8-packs of sessions. Taxes and fees included.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with an initial consultation to learn about your dog’s history, behavior, and goals. From there, I create a customized training plan and work step-by-step with you, providing guidance, practice, and ongoing support to ensure lasting results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience and am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA). I combine over a decade of experience in animal behavior research with hands-on work in dog training, wildlife rehabilitation, and behavior modification, giving me both the scientific background and practical skills to help dogs and their owners succeed.
