Hello, I am Sophia! I am currently a proud owner of a Bengal-Persian Cat and have previously owned a Maltese-Cocker Spaniel mix. I've cared for them for seven years and am experienced with basic care routines needed to maintain cats and dogs. Additionally, I board cats and dogs, offer walking services, and cat grooming services. My grooming services include bathing, nail trimming, hair trimming, de-shedding, and ear/eye/dental care.
I live across Riverbank State Park, Riverside Park, and Hudson River Park. Riverside Park contains an official dog park with a safe and friendly community of dogs to socialize and play with. A dog walk should be through a park with open space and grass, not simply around the block! I currently live with my cat, Pookie, who is friendly and welcoming of all cats and dogs alike. Safety and care is my top priority. I make it my personal goal to care, respect, and love your furry animal friend!

Sophia has taken care of my dogs on multiple occasions and has never let me down! I have two dogs and she’s been taking them on walks for years. When I’ve been out of town, she’s also taken care of them for days and weeks at a time! Sophia’s been a huge help to me and my dogs over the years, and I don’t know what I would do without her. My dogs have also grown to love her and always get so excited when they get to see her after it’s been a while! I recommend Sophia whenever any of my friends and family need someone to walk or take care their dogs and she’s always happy to help out. Sophia is one of a kind, reliable, and amazing with animals!!

I had a hard time looking someone to look after my dog in the area that I could trust and that would charge a reasonable price. As soon as I left my dog I knew that I was going to get a good experience for my bichon frise. The service was beyond expectations, and when I came back my dog was pristine and he looked very happy! I felt like I needed to check up on him throughout the day and every time I reached out I was got an immediate response and updates. I will definitely be coming back to Castro's Furry Animal Enterprise, so happy to have found someone that can watch over my dog in the neighborhood!

I booked Castro's Furry Animal Enterprise to cat sit and came home to a well taken care of and happy cat. She usually doesn't like people, so Sophia definitely did something right! I appreciate her patience and attentiveness, both of which can be hard to find. I will definitely be booking with Sophia again. I highly recommend her services!

Sophia boarded my cat while I went to California for two weeks July of 2020. She followed the instructions I gave her perfectly and was timely with feeding times. Every morning and night at exactly 8, she would send a pictures of my cat eating. She would send photos of her cleaning the litter 2 or 3 times a day. And she would always send an update photo or video of my cat playing or napping. I appreciated her thoroughness in making me feel like my cat was being taken care of. It allowed me to enjoy my vacation knowing Casper was in good hands.
