- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge hourly rate on number of photographers, videographers and photography assistants needed. Our quote is an all-inclusive price which includes traveling cost, etc. In our standard package, photos are delivered digitally via online gallery in high resolution with no watermarks. Fees applied for additional service such as professionally retouched photos, makeup and hair service, DVD or flash drive delivery of photos, printed products, framed photos, and albums, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the initial consultation via Thumbtack message, email or phone call, we will answer all questions and concerns that you may have. In-person consultation is free for 6+ hours of wedding appointments and we prefer to meet at the venue so we can scout the area. We will need a signed contract and 25% of total as retainer to confirm the appointment. After the photos are taken, we need 5-7 days to sort and process the photos. Retouched photos are usually delivered within 7 days. Online gallery will be removed 3 months after the shooting, so please be sure to download the photos within 3 months.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started working at a studio as a photography assistant in my teens setting up the studio, preparing props, operating the lights, retouching photos, etc. I became secondary shooter for the studio after several years of hands-on training on wide variety of projects including commercial, fashion, portrait, weddings, events, etc. Getting feedback from professionals and customers helped me grow and I started Miles Photography in 2013.
