- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly rate with a 3 hour minimum. The Closet Detox usually lasts about 3 hours. Our focus is to curate a wardrobe of fewer, better pieces. We will decide what to keep, what to toss, what to donate, what to tailor, what to repair. We will "shop" your closet and re-style your favorite clothes into outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. If you want to add new pieces we will create a tightly edited to-buy list and schedule a Personal Shopping Trip which takes usually 2-3 hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a free 30-minute phone consultation to go over questions or concerns you may have while I can learn about your goals, budget and lifestyle. I follow up with a more detailed questionnaire and as “homework” I suggest that you create an inspiration board on Pinterest to collect ideas about styles, shapes, colors that you like. I find that with these initial steps we can be more time efficient and clear when we meet in person.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've had the opportunity to work with a vast variety of clients. Celebrities, super models, professional women & men, teens getting ready for prom, mothers-of-the-bride (or groom), women having recently changed size, stylish grandmothers and new moms. It really runs the gamut and that's what I love about my work.
