- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am adding to my yoga expertise with a certification in Ayurvedic Holistic Wellness. I am also a member of Yoga Alliance, through which I can stay up to date on developments in yoga. I regularly follow their webinars and workshops, and get to hear from other professionals in the field.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I pursued dance from a young age through college, so I was always fascinated with movement. Yoga helped me overcome back pain, and it has been my interest ever since to help people pursue their fitness and health goals, while easing and avoiding strain and injury.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I most commonly teach a power-based yoga flow, because it is most popular amongst my clients. They like to get a good workout, sweat out toxins, burn calories, build strength and muscle tone, while improving flexibility. After about 45 minutes of movement, they can more easily unwind into a deep relaxation.
