Introduction: We offer first aid and CPR training in NYC and the surrounding area. Think Safe Inc. is an established manufacturer, wholesaler, integrator and training center based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Current customers include large fitness franchises, fitness facilities, healthcare facilities and nursing homes, assisted living centers, golf courses and country clubs, recreational facilities, law enforcement, volunteer fire and EMS or first responder organizations, hotels, YMCAs, commercial aviation clients, utilities, large employers and service organizations, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, industrial clients and manufacturers, government entities, childcare and daycare facilities, foster parents, camps, and thousands of other customers. Think Safe has been operating since 2004 and has won a number of awards for our training services and product solutions. We provide proprietary software and hardware and specialized services that supplement well-known training offerings on the market today. We specialize in offering technology solutions for emergency response and first aid by offering technology tools along with a wide variety of training solutions or systems. Think Safe is a nationally accredited certified training center offering certificates for the big-brand names on the market such as the American Heart Association (AHA), American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) or Health and Safety Institute (HSI), Red Cross, International Occupational Health and Safety Institute (IOHSA), National Safety Council (NSC), Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) and other common brand names. Instructors are experienced industry professionals including EMTs, paramedics, and nurses with extensive field knowledge to pass on to students. Classes include innovative technological tools, including videos, hands-on elements, and high-tech mannequins to convey lessons. Course curriculum is up-to-date to most recent CPR science guidelines and meets ECC/American Heart Association (AHA)/Red Cross guidelines/OSHA/ILCOR/St. John/Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada CPR standards. Courses are also compliant with international first aid standards. Open enrollment courses are held regularly at Think Safe locations throughout the country, or you may arrange for our trainers to come to you. We offer the following courses: * Adult CPR * Adult/Child/Infant CPR * Automated External Defibrillator (AED) * Blood-Borne Pathogen (BBP) * BLS Healthcare Provider or Professional CPR * Basic First Aid * Mandatory Reporter for Child or Dependent Adult Abuse * Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) * Emergency Oxygen Successful completion grants a 2-year certification for most courses, but up to 3-year valid certificates may be obtained if requested in advance, when possible.
