French Tutor

Native French speaker, I had to learn Italian and English in a few months for education and work purposes, so I have been in your shoes. I personalize the classroom experience to the individual student's needs and pace. I've helped several learners becoming independent in reading, writing and speaking French or Italian in only a few months and dramatically increase their grades and confidence in just a few weeks. More than half of my students are elementary, middle and high schoolers which I help with their French homework, while reinforcing the grammar learned in class. My strengths are teaching French to beginner and intermediate level students, with specific attention to detail and learning style personalized to the student's own unique ways of learning. In addition to grammar, reading, writing and conversation, I have experience in translation, editing, and proofreading. I really love seeing my students improve their speaking skills every week, as they are writing grammatically correct sentences while gaining confidence.
