I understand your frustration, but leaving a 1-star review is completely unfair considering we never even started the job or stepped foot on your property. Initially, the tasks we discussed were suitable for an hourly rate. However, when the scope of work changed, the nature of the project shifted. For such cases, especially considering my worker had a long distance to travel to your location, a fixed price of $700 is my standard practice. I switch to fixed pricing in these situations to ensure transparency and avoid any unexpected costs for the client. The only thing we disagreed on was the estimate during the negotiation phase. No work was performed, and you were not charged a single cent. It is unreasonable to try and damage a professional's reputation simply because we could not agree on pricing terms before a project even began.
