How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved Audio and video systems - in fact I often helped friends set up their new equipment. To couple that with my dream of owning my own business was just too much to pass up. Having the opportunity to use my skills from Corporate America, business school and my passion is a great place to be.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We help our clients with everything from troubleshooting small issues with their A/V systems (no picture, no sound, etc), to small installs such as soundbars and TV mountings, to full surround systems, all the way up to whole home audio systems and automation systems.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice I can give is to have a sense of your trade-off point between performance and aesthetics. Which is more important? How much are you willing to sacrifice on one to get the other.
Also, having a budget in mind is extremely helpful. We can do installs from $2000 up to $50,000 and more. Without a budget to work with, it can take much longer on both of our parts to get to the best solution
