FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to keep pricing clear and upfront so there are no surprises: • Consultation Fee — A set fee for the initial consultation to go over your space, goals, and ideas. • Flat or Project Fee — For full design work, I often use a flat fee based on the scope, whether it’s per room or a full project. • Retainer / Upfront Payment — I typically ask for part of the project fee upfront to secure your spot and ensure commitment. • Hourly or Add‑Ons — If something changes mid-project or extra support is needed, I can work hourly or create a custom plan that fits your needs and budget. Design takes time, coordination, sourcing, and planning, so these structures help protect both you and me while ensuring the final space is polished, thoughtful, and high-end.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My virtual design process is structured, collaborative, and detail-driven to ensure a refined result. Step 1: Discovery & Booking Clients begin with a paid virtual consultation. Before our meeting, you’ll share photos, measurements, and inspiration imagery so I can fully understand your space and aesthetic vision. Step 2: Virtual Consultation We meet via a virtual platform of your choice (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or FaceTime) for a detailed walkthrough of your space. During this time, we discuss lifestyle needs, functionality, architectural details, budget, and timeline. I also confirm measurements and spatial considerations in real time. Step 3: Concept Development Using your inspiration as a starting point, I craft a tailored design concept. I especially enjoy projects where I can bring my full creative perspective, as this allows me to create a space that feels harmonious, functional, and uniquely yours. This includes layout strategy, curated furnishings, layered materials, and thoughtfully selected finishes — all designed to elevate your space. Step 4: Design Presentation You receive a comprehensive design presentation with visuals, sourcing details, and a clear implementation plan. Every element is selected to ensure balance, proportion, and longevity. Step 5: Installation I guide or coordinate the installation of furnishings, materials, and décor to ensure everything is placed precisely as envisioned. This step ensures your space comes together seamlessly, reflecting the full design intent. Step 6: Execution Support I remain available for follow-up questions and guidance after installation to ensure the final result feels polished and intentional.
