I started to join in the service through Thumbtack in 2015. That is the proof that My Tutoring Service through it has succeeded.
I teach from totally Beginners up to the people who challenge to take JLPT N1 - N5, AP Japanese Language.
The native Japanese learned English in the U.S.A. and achieved fluency, I received a BBA degree, majoring in Accounting at a college in the US in 2014. I can stand in Your position and teach Japanese to You. I create my own unique program Just For You because each student has different characteristics, capacities, and interests. I search and research a bunch of material for Your programs. In the limited time on each session, I organize the program so that You are satisfied with it.
To be honest, I look for the people who really need my service.
When I recognize that my students study hard while enjoying my program, it enhances my motivation to create better programs for them. I will feel happy when they feel happy to receive my service.

Hello, I took a trial class and it was a great introduction to Japanese language and cultural experience. She broke down the character sets and basically language differences between English/Japanese.

I enjoyed my first lesson! Sakura-sensei is patient and easy to learn from. I especially appreciate that she incorporates Japanese culture into the lessons which makes learning the language more engaging. I'm not a complete beginner, and she's done a great job of assessing my current skill level and tailoring the lessons to where I am. I'm looking forward to continuing to learn with her!

I’ve been researching Japanese languagelessons and I’m glad I came across this trial. Sakura did great job of giving me an idea on how the structure of a conversation works. She was very informative and I’m looking forward to more lessons in the future.

Very professional and punctual for the trial lesson. It was only an hour but I definitely learned a lot about the japanese language within that hour. Also helped with common misconceptions that foreigners going to Japan do with verbiage in certain situations which was very helpful. Would highly recommend learning Japanese from her.

You can take my class online by Skype if you are in the other states, because I am currently in NYC. I could travel to meet up to you if you were in NYC. However, to be honest, my program on line is totally the same as the one on one in person because I teach with electrical files. No worries! Please take a look at the answer to the next question, "What is your typical processes with can new customer?
The rate is lower but the quality is much higher than the other tutors. The earning money is my secondary demand. The primary demand is to see the improvement how my students would get better and better their skills under my own program and they would achieve their goal at the end. I would be happy to see it! That is my satisfaction to work hard for them.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The approach of teaching Japanese language is different from the others. I provide the materials which general textbooks don't cover, and are useful and practical to communicate with local Japanese people. Please contact with me! I will explain more the details.
I have the over 600 electrical materials on Microsoft Words, Excels sheets, PDFs and etc. which I created on my own way and links and scans. I can share them all with you with no charge. I can provide the additional materials which you could be easier to understand grammars compared to just studying with a textbook.
You need a computer to take my class when you take it on line. You just need a pen and a notebook.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have enjoyed teaching people since I had experienced as an English Instructor for 5 years in Tokyo. At that time I taught around 100 students from PK, elementary school to middle school who challenge to pass the exams for admission to high schools. Additionally, I have worked as a Tutor for a Business course at my community college for 2 years in US. At a College, I helped the students as a Japanese Private Tutor.
