I was provided with life coaching. Jo has been more than a life coach. She's been an encourager, a mentor and friend. It has truly been an honor working with such an intelligent, kind, thoughtful woman. I have achieved great success through her coaching. First she identified what I needed the most and we established three measurable and attainable goals, all which were accomplished within the three months I decided to receive her coaching. One of my main goals was to be more confident. This is something I have been struggling with as I am someone who believed my niceness and always just giving in and doing things for people was the only way to get by. However, through developing a triad and learning how to stand up for myself I have achieved more confidence. Jo shared personal stories that I related to and new metaphors to think about when put in situations. Some examples include asking for what I want and not just going with it, or leaving my roommates dishes in the sink for her to take care of, asking colleagues for help when I get really busy. A big thing was having an important difficult discussion with someone important to me in my life and figuring out our relationship to help me be the best version of me. Jo helped me talk through the appropriate ways to speak and addressing conversations with I feel statements in order to not place blame. Another goal was to move up in my career, with my gained confidence I was able to apply for new positions and Jo helped me do interview practice and said I have nothing to lose and although I didn't get that position I was more prepared for next steps and have decided to go back to school for teaching to advance my passions. Jo helped me weigh my options and see how I felt about situations. She really kept me honest to my deadlines and was someone to hold me accountable for my actions. As well, another goal was to volunteer more. I found options and always enjoyed sharing experiences and know this is something I will continue to keep on my radar. It has truly been a pleasure working with Jo and would recommend her to anyone. She finds interesting ways to relate, connect and help in anyway possible. Her true dedication and care is insurmountable.

Jo is warm, compassionate, supportive, encouraging and very attentive to all of your coaching needs. I am beyond happy with our overall experience. This was my first experience working with a life coach and she surpassed all expectations. Jo is extremely easy to talk to you and very knowledgeable about navigating challenging life obstacles. I worked with Jo Vetter as my personal Life Strategy coach during a period of time when I was shifting from one specific professional track to another. During this career transition, I was feeling very low and lost; my expectations and hopes for where I had seen myself going were not being fulfilled, and on top of that, I was feeling a lot of guilt for making the change I needed to make. I had invested years of time, energy, and financial resources into a discipline that I no longer wanted to pursue. Jo helped me gain clarity and perspective, identify limiting beliefs, and see that I was using the excuse of guilt (for making the career shift) to hold myself back from taking risks and moving forward successfully. Now, I am taking those risks and seeing results start to happen. I'm being paid to do the work I truly love! It's an exciting time and I'm energized! I still work with Jo from time to time when I run up against new challenges and need more coaching.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee depends upon the following: 1.) Length of Coaching contract (6-month, 3-month, one-time only. 2.) Number of sessions per month. (weekly, bi-weekly) My fee averages $75 per hour. I sometimes offer a sliding scale for students who present a need. It is best to talk with me about my fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct a complimentary session with potential clients to make sure we are a good fit. If we choose to work together, I help clients identify their goals, identify what is preventing them from achieving the success they desire, and eliminate those obstacles.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in in the areas of Strategy Coaching, Accountability Coaching, and Assessment Coaching.
