I had a great experience with Bellhops! My movers were friendly, quick and punctual. They handled my things quite nicely and even finished much earlier than my original quote suggested - 45 minutes! which saved me a lot of money, as you are only charged for an hour minimum and then 15 minute increments after. That way I wasn’t paying for unused time, as a lot of other movers in the city have a 2 hour minimum. The best part of all is that they were able to arrive at a precise time rather than a 3-4 hour window of time. This helped so much as we were moving from Boston and wanted to take away some of the guess work of moving our things in. Bellhops made our moving experience so awesome. Gladly would use them again for my next move.

My bell hops, two college students, were helpful and punctual. My friends had to help a little with the couch as they weren't too strong, but they had a great attitude. Also minimum charge is by an hour, which is great!

Our Bellhops move was exceptional from start to finish. We had been dreading the move from Nashville to NYC and Bellhops provided excellent service every step of the way. From our first interaction, we knew we were in good hands Nick and the Nashville team (Landon, Josh) arrived early with a great attitude and packed up our 1BR in less than 2 hours. Our driver, Gavin, let us know that our belongings were in good hands ahead of the daunting move to the middle of NYC. When we got to our third floor walk up in NYC, the local team stepped in again to save the day. Led by Jaheir Heslop, the local dream team (Derrick Anglada, Ezron Parris, Raekwon Taylor) knew the ins and outs of NYCie how to park a 26 foot moving truck in West Village, how to set up an assembly line for efficiency. In addition to providing excellent service, their positive energy was contagious and reiterated our excitement to be in NYC. We cannot thank this group enough.

I had no idea what to expect when I booked a groupon for my move and let me tell you Bellhops showed up confident, friendly and so efficient! I could not have asked for a better moving experience. Jaheir, Javae, Christopher and Jose all were friendly and took extra care with my things. They are fast and super competent! Just sit back and trust them. They definitely know what they are doing. I would 100% recommend them to anyone and I will be using Bellhops for my next move for sure!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Straightforward pricing:
You only pay for the time your move requires, with no surprises (Moves with trucks have a one-time base fee plus the hourly rate).
For moves with trucks there is a 3 hour minimum.
For labor-only moving help there is a 2 hour minimum.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Build your moving plan and schedule online or over the phone in minutes:
Tell us what you need, and we'll tailor your moving services and match you with the most-qualified movers. Book for free and pay only a deposit after 48 hours. The rest is due once your move is complete.
2) Meet your movers:
On the night before your move, you'll receive an e-mail that includes a photograph of each mover so that you’re greeted by familiar faces on moving day.
3) Relax while Bellhop carries out the job:Your lead mover will get in touch on the day of your move to let you know your team is on its way. Once your movers arrive, they’ll conduct a brief walk-through, take note of any special instructions you have, and then get moving. You will also be provided with a QR code to clock the team in and out, giving you control over the hours you will be billed.
