I was planning a surprise birthday brunch for my cousin. I got chef Qonyac number from a friend . From the first conversation he was helpful in helping design the best menu and very responsive with any questions I had . At the event he was very professional , food was cooked in a timely fashion, presentation was great and of course tasted really good. Everyone at the event was stuffed and happy!! I’ll def book him again . Thanks chef Q!!!

This chef has very poor customer service, he's quite rude and ripped me off for $50. He was unable to deliver the services he agreed to, after I sent him the down payment. He texted me at midnight to tell me he couldn't arrive at the time agreed upon and pushed back my dinner an hour and his arrival time by 3 hours. He told me instead of cooking some of the food, he was going to purchase it in advance to serve at my event. He then was unable to secure all the necessary items to cook the agreed upon meal and refused to refund me the entire amount. He took $50 from my down payment for his "efforts". He yelled at me and was continuously rude as I continued to be cordial with him. Finally, when I told him "God bless you," he yelled at me that I wasn't going to make him out to be the bad guy.
All in all, not a good experience with this guy. Steer clear.

This is not at all the case. You reached out to me less than 24 hours before your dinner saying that another chef tried to triple his quote the day before. I usually don’t take last minute bookings but I wanted to help because I felt the other chef was being unfair. As far as the time change, it was proposed to you for you to either accept or decline. We spoke about it and you accepted that time. Also a reason why I don’t like last minute bookings is because sometimes it may be hard to find a certain item in a short time frame. In your case I couldn’t find an item for your appetizer and tried to offer suggestions as a replacement but instead you called me back to cancel after I have already shopped for almost all your grocery items. If a person cancels last minute when booking a chef or booking any service there is a cancellation fee. That’s where the $50 fee came from. I didn’t rip you off. I’m far from a rude person and wouldn’t yell at my customer.

Chef Qonyac made our 10 year Anniversary very special. We worked with him on a menu and he added his own ideas which made it even better. Talented chef and extremely personableZ Make sure you ask for special clean up. Sparkling. Great human. Highly recommend!

Chef Qonyac is an amazing and thoughtful chef. I planned a surprise for my fiance's birthday during Covid and he made it one to remember. His price was super reasonable compared to other chefs and he included way more items than any chef I received a quote from. He wore his mask and practiced social distancing as much as humanly possible. He helped clean and serve as advertised. Last but not least ever item he cooked tasted better than the last from the lobster, to the whole snapper, to the mac and cheese, to the pie right down to the salad! I would highly recommend him which I did days after my event.
