- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can charge either hourly or by the project. I generally prefer to quote by the project, but sometimes it simply makes more sense to charge hourly. I am flexible, this is a decision that is made with the client. The cost of the initial consultation is included in the quote or charged as a consulting hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a brief email exchange, I go to see the client's home and discuss things in detail. Then I send them a quote, along with a breakdown of what needs to be done and some propositions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My organizational skills come from my experience as a film production coordinator and from exchanging my apartment. Some of my first clients were actually people with whom I had swapped homes and who loved how my place was styled and organized.
