Introduction: Hi! I'm Sharona, AKA The Organizer Bunny. I've organized for hundreds of people throughout the NY Tri State area since starting my business four years ago! My goal is to simplify your space and in turn, simplify your life. Together, we will declutter, pack up or unpack your home or workplace and create a haven that is both beautiful and functional. We will go through all of your belongings and I will teach you to only keep things that make you happy and to let go of things that don't. After you are left only with belongings that either bring you joy or serve a purpose in your life, we will designate areas for these items that make sense for you and your space. I recently moved and desperately need help organizing my new home. After doing some research I decided to go with Sharona. I am so happy with her work. After feeling so overwhelmed with how disorganized everything was I feel like I can breathe again. Will definitely hire her in the future.

I'm so glad I found Sharona to help me prepare for my upcoming move. With a limited window of time to purge my apartment, organize and pack my belongings, Sharona transformed what had been an extremely overwhelming task for me to face alone into an efficient, speedy, stress-free and thorough process. She also was the most responsive organizer I had initially reached out to, and this responsiveness continued throughout my entire time working with her. Texts and messages were answered with rapid speed, and I never felt like I was waiting and waiting for a reply - that makes such a difference. She is really a godsend! By the end of 1 day, I felt an enormous weight lifted off my shoulders - literally and figuratively (we wound up with close to 20 garbage bags full of things I wanted to purge, and about 10 bags of things I could donate). Sharona's work ethic was amazing, and her professionalism, punctuality and respect for any mental or emotional hurdles that came up during the process was really appreciated. Whenever I couldn't make a decision about something to keep or toss, she prompted me with thoughtful but helpful questions that empowered me to not only make a decision, but also to feel confident about whatever I decided. I plan on hiring her again once I've moved into my new place so that she can help with unpacking and organizing too! Thank you Sharona!

Working on making our entry room in railroad apartment more functional and sane - it’s a small space for a multi-use room: mud room, living room, dining room, office, play room. Our first phase was primarily decluttering and purging plus separating out what items belong to which household member. Sharona helped keep things moving and that helped me make quick decisions, item after item. And I would blink and she would have an area set up in a more functional, organized way based on how we use the space. I plan to have her back to work through kitchen and bedroom closet as well, and my partner wants to have a session for his workshop/supply/tool storage room. We are all feeling so much lighter already just from that first round, everyone is happier and motivated to manage the space better.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I charge $50/hour for all jobs (decluttering, unpacking etc.).

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    First, we have a conversation, either via Thumbtack, email, text or phone call. My customer tells me what he or she needs done and we talk about how and when I can tackle it. We then schedule a time for me to come over and get started!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a Bachelor's in English Communications with a focus in Advertising. My education has actually helped me learn how to best communicate with my customers and figure out what each one needs.
