Mike was my personal trainer from June 15, 2012 to December 1, 2012. I had some initial vague goals of getting into shape and losing some weight. I discussed these goals with Mike and he recommended that I do abdominal core strengthening exercises. I had not exercised on a regular basis in quite a while but Mike made it easy for me to get into an exercise routine. I trained with Mike two times a week after work and the immediate result of doing the exercises was that I felt better physically and mentally. The routine of warm ups, intense exercises and then stretching was really fun. It was a lot of work and at times I just felt like I didn't have it in me to do the exercises after a long day at work, but through Mike's encouragement, I did the work and I did see the results of feeling better, feeling more confident, feeling calmer, getting more toned and I did lose about 5 pounds during the 5 months I was in training. I would highly recommend Mike as a personal trainer because he really took a personal interest in me and made setting exercise goals and doing some pretty intense physical work outs fun. Peter W.

I've been working with Mike since July of 2011. He's always prepared for our sessions, has a vast knowledge of all types of different exercises, and is great about pointing out the right way to do each exercise. There's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all workout routine, and Mike always varies the exercises which makes the sessions a lot more fun. He's a great motivator, personable, energetic, has a great sense of humor and really listens to what I need to meet my fitness goals. He always makes sure that I'm pushed to my limit for each session. I feel better, look better, I have more confidence, I have more energy. Outside of the sessions, he has motivated me to eat better, and to have a higher concern for my overall health which has significantly improved because of Mike's help. He really cares about his clients and always goes above and beyond. Mike is a great influence, he always makes our sessions beneficial, fun and produces the results I'm looking for. Highly recommended for every fitness level and any goals you have!

I've done some personal training over the years and have to say that Mike Bello is by far the best, most effective trainer that I've ever worked with. He is knowledgeable, conscientious and, above all, genuine. At 59, I found myself totally out of shape. My aerobic capacity was completely in the toilet. Added to that were a couple of medical issues that further impacted me. I was at 220-222 lbs and I decided it was time to do something. However, due to one of the aforementioned medical issues, I had just had eye surgery and my movement was limited. Mike methodically researched the type of procedure I had undergone to understand my limitations as far as movement/exertion went and then prepared a list of exercises for my doctor to review/approve. After she nixed a number of them, Mike came up with acceptable alternatives. After working with Mike for 4 months, I was down to 199 lbs, feeling fit and looking good. The coaching he provided also included dietary/nutritional guidelines which proved invaluable. I highly recommend Mike.

Since working out with Mike for the past year, I am now in the best shape I've ever been in my life --- better at 53 than I was at 20.

Mike is a great trainer: patient, funny, competent. He is also a very good listener: tell him what your goals are and he will work with you to get there. His sessions vary a lot and therefore are never boring alternating different styles of exercises. They all share the common trait of pushing you to the limit though. I would recommend Mike any time.
