I followed the smooth running program for about a year.I lost 20 lbs and many inches. The great thing about the trainer is he doesn't focus on the number on the scale. He focuses on performance and how you feel. He helped me tone my body and lose fat. He also educates you and gives you the tools to succeed on your own. I lost 20lbs working out with Dae 1-on-1 in the gym & at his group bootcamp sessions! He keeps your goals in mind & emphasizes exercises that will help you slim down while still maintaining a nice shape. His training style taught me how to structure my own workouts so I could continue to progress on my own in the gym. But I still show up for bootcamp when I want to change it up.Nov 2, 2015
So I've been with Dae for about 4 years. I found him when he was a trainer for a women's gym. He got me started on my healthy/gym lifestyle. When I first met him I was probably around 180lbs. I'm currently down to 145lbs. Dae is not a trainer who is going to sit back and let you waste his time or your own time. He will push you to a limit you didn't know was possible. One phrase Dae doesn't believe is "I can't do it". He refuses to let you give up on yourself. I highly recommend Dae! He is an amazing trainer and friend. I have tried a lot of things and programs to lose weight but honestly one of the most effective and grueling methods has been smooth running. Dae's intensity and knowledge of working out mixed with high impact movements really are absolutely amazing yet tough workouts. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First, I'd like to complete a Fitness Assessment. Which will help me understand / address clients fitness goals, needs and fitness history. Also the Fitness Assessment will help me identify any past or present injury or handicap the client may have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I'm a Certified Personal Trainer & Fitness Instructor. Also, I'm a recreational athlete. My favorite sports are boxing, basketball and football.
- What types of customers have you worked with?My clientele has been quite unique in variation from as young as 15years- 68years Male , female, slim to obese, professional athlete to recreational/ amateur/ seasonal athlete, novice/ beginner to fitness training to a fitness junkie.
