Currently, I have 20 students in piano and voice, and am looking to expand my studio both in-person and digitally! I have been teaching for 10 years now.

Matthew is an incredibly gifted musician whose passion and dedication have been a great source of inspiration for me.
As a professional instructor, he is very patience, supportive and motivating during classes and throughout the entire learning journey. Personally he’s also very warm and caring. :)

Matthew Maimone brings his Juilliard training to his piano instruction by combining technical expertise with a love of music. Matthew has been a great teacher to me over the Pandemic. We started lessons during that period because I had extra time to learn piano. He really helped me understand technique better, and has helped me read music better than before.

Matthew has been teaching my 11-year old son to play piano for a few months now. He’s been nothing but pleasure to work with. He is passionate about what he does and inspires my son to be give his best effort. He can strike the right balance to make the lessons fun, but also keep them challenging. Matthew is a great teacher, both a real professional and a very nice guy. I couldn't be happier.
I'm an adult piano student and teacher, and I have been working with Matthew for about 1½ years so far. He's very open to my ideas and quite sensitive to my musical wants and goals.
My own schedule is hectic, and he understands and works with this, while also holding me accountable enough so that I prioritize my own playing and don't back-slip too much. His practicing suggestions have helped me immensely.
Matthew is a great well of knowledge. It is clear to me that his thoughts on technique, musicality, and practice stem from a breadth of experience and a deep lineage of teachers. I feel fortunate that my teacher has such resources to ponder and draw from.
